 This national award recognizes the outstanding work of his PhD thesis, in which he applied Artificial Intelligence for the diagnosis of COVID-19, neglected diseases, and the discovery of new drugs.

His research not only broke academic barriers but also generated international impact, with publications cited by the WHO and recognized by the British Royal Society and the UK Government. His thesis became the foundation for the creation of MozBioMed.AI, a British startup already developing AI tools for the diagnosis and treatment of critical diseases in Africa.
